Some Random Photos (2012, 2014, 2017)

Today I decided to post some random photos I’ve taken over the years, while not the best quality (some were taken with a smartphone), they show distinctive moments.

We’ll start with the goat in 2012 that decided to eat off the trees outside my parents’ home. The goat belonged to someone down a road or two and was reaching for leaves up high. The goat would eventually notice me while trying to eat, and that’s when I took the picture.

In 2014, a county firetruck responded to an emergency next door, only to have an emergency of its own. The firetruck got stuck on the muddy road and sank down a good bit. The truck actually caught on fire as the gas tank was heating next to grass that stuck next to it. Luckily, it was put out before it could do any significant damage to the truck.

And in 2017, I had two occasions where I only had my smartphone to take pictures. The first is a shot of Highway 49 in Hattiesburg, Mississippi where there was a “Right Lane Closed” and a “Left Lane Closed” sign on opposite sides of the road. The second is a puppy sitting just outside the car window staring inside the drive-thru window at a local McDonalds.
